The City of Cottage Grove Police Department is actively recruiting for an Entry Level or Lateral Police Dispatcher to join our organization. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task effectively, and a genuine commitment to serving our community.

High School Grad/GED: Yes
Valid Driver's License: No
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Vision: Yes, as part of the post conditional medical exam.
College: N/A
Academy Certification: If selected for the position, uncertified applicants will be required to attend and complete the DPSST Telecommunications Academy.Â
Prior Experience: Preferred experience: Customer Service, Multi-tasking, Computer.Â
Hiring Process: Applicants are required to complete required testing through NTN, email completed City of Cottage Grove application (which can be obtained at https://cottagegrove.org/jobs) and resume to hr@cottagegrove.org. If applicant passing testing and submits required documents, they will be invited to interview. If selected for position, applicant will complete a full background and post conditional medical and psychological evaluation.

Salary Range: $4,539 to 5,793 per Month
